Give it all to Him! 08/10/2011
"Give it all to Him." That's the subject of the 4 sessions of Roundtables beginning this Sunday at Hosanna. The Roundtables begin at 6pm. Most of the time, we think of giving to God in terms of material or tangible things. But there are "internal things" that need to be given to Him in order to follow His will for our lives. Come and learn what they are and how you can experience peace and freedom as you "give them to Him." Scripture thought today: Isaiah 41:10. God bless you! Add Comment Calling all Dad's 06/15/2011
Dad, I challenge you to be in church on Father's Day. Don't wait until it's too late. Hosanna's service begins at 10:30 am. The greatest--the most powerful--the most well-rounded man who ever walked on planet earth was Jesus Christ. Come and learn more about Him. One day every one of us will have to face Him as Savior or as Judge. A wise man will make the right choice. God bless you, Dad! Stepping into the pulpit 06/13/2011
Sunday was a milestone for me. Although I felt extremely weak in body, I believed it was time for me to once again step into the pulpit. The gracious and enthusiastic response of the congregation gave me added strength and confidence. As I gazed out into the audience, I was especially excited to see my nurse, Jennifer, in the service. All of us shared in Communion following the message. What a blessing to be part of God's family. And it's all because of the precious blood of Jesus! God bless you this week! He's the Vine! 06/08/2011
"Apart from Me, you can do nothing." Jesus made this declaration in John 15 as he taught about the vine and the branches. I am realizing more and more the truth of what Jesus said as I am going through this recovery process. What about you? Are you still trying to solve your problem in your own strength? Take it to Him! He's the Vine. Everything you need comes through Him. A branch can do nothing alone. God Bless You! Sunday's Visit 06/06/2011
It was great to be in the service Sunday morning! Very encouraging to serve a congregation like Hosanna that does not center on one personality. To see the church move forward in my absence is a testimony to the strength and foundation of Hosanna. It is also a tribute to my family and their dedication to the Lord's work. Thank you for your continued prayers. God bless each one of you! Scripture for thought: Romans 15:13. Not by Chance or Luck 06/03/2011
Thank you for visiting our website today. I am continuing my recovery time from prostate cancer surgery recently. Fortunately, the cancer was contained and the prognosis is good. God's promise to us as His children is that He is directing our steps, We do not live by chance, luck or roll of the dice. Even in this unexpected experience in my life, the Lord is working through it to touch other lives with His love. The Lord makes no mistakes! "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, BUT the Lord delivereth them out of them all." (Psalm 34:19). Will you take a moment right now with me to thank the Lord for His promises, even when the path is dark and the road is rough? God bless you, friend! |
